Pittsburgh Steelers former first-round QB Kenny Pickett just entered the history books — and it has nothing to do with his on-the-field accolades.
Following his trade from the Cleveland Browns to the Las Vegas Raiders, Pickett has become just the second player over the past 30 years to be traded three or more times within his first four seasons — behind QB Sam Howell, who became the first yesterday with his arrival on the Philadelphia Eagles, as reported by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
The only player in the last 30 seasons to be traded 3+ times within his first 4 NFL seasons was Sam Howell, who hit the mark yesterday.
Kenny Pickett is now the second.

Pickett and his two gloves have been on a roller-coaster journey since he requested his trade from the Steelers — being sent from Pittsburgh to the Philadelphia Eagles, then to the Browns, and now the Raiders — all tied back to his handling of the Russell Wilson signing last year.
His opportunities at a starting position are slim to none behind Raiders QB Geno Smith — but Las Vegas arguably has one of the most talented QB rooms in the NFL following Pickett’s arrival.
