ET Graphics: With 49 seats and 695 candidates, fifth phase turns into crucial round for big names

Today, polling for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections will encompass 49 constituencies across six states and two union territories, along with 35 assembly seats in Odisha. This phase signifies the conclusion of voting in approximately 78% (427) of parliamentary seats. Remaining seats will undergo voting on May 25 (58 seats) and June 1 (57 seats). Results for Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim will be announced on June 2, while Lok Sabha, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha results are scheduled for declaration on June 4.
