Employment in the country has seen a significant rise, increasing by more than 35 per cent over the last six fiscal years, reaching 64.33 crore as of March 2024, Parliament was informed on Thursday. Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Shobha Karandlaje, provided this information in a reply to the Rajya Sabha.
