Liverpool preserved their perfect start to the Premier League season on Saturday with Mohamed Salah once again proving decisive.
The Reds star coolly converted 95 minute penalty to seal dramatic 1 – 0 away win over Burnley sending the defending champions back to the top of the table.
A record breaking night
Salah’s strike was his 35th successful penalty in the PL for Liverpool surpassing the legendary Billy Liddell (34) as the club’s most reliable spot kick taker in history.
Climbing the all time charts
The Egyptian also climbed to 4th place on the Premier League’s all time scorers list with 188 goal edging past Andy Cole (187).
Salah now sits just 20 goal behind Wayne Rooney (208) with Harry Kane (213) & Alan Shearer (260) further ahead.
