Mahi V Raghav has tasted success on OTT with hits like ‘Save The Tigers’ by showing husband-wife woes in an interesting and funny genre. He also made hard-hitting series ‘Shaitan’ but it was overloaded with cuss words and sleazy scenes which eclipsed the story of cop-naxal feud. “Mahi V Raghav last released ‘Yatra 2’ with Tamil actor Jiva reprising the role of former chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy but it failed at the box office,” he points out.
Whereas, Dulquer has become a household name among Telugu audience with his scintillating performances in Telugu films like ‘Mahanati’ and ‘Sita Ramam’ and doing another Telugu film ‘Lucky Bhaskar’. “Dulquer is expanding his fan base among Telugu viewers and working with young Telugu directors who are coming up with refreshing ideas. So he could team up with Mahi, since he has seen his father doing a great job by reprising the role of late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy in ‘Yatra’,” he concludes.
