The Tennessee Titans are in the process of finishing up offseason team activities, and a couple of undrafted rookie free agents have received some attention.
Wide receiver Xavier Restrepo leads the way with coverage, and for good reason. Surprisingly, Restrepo fell out of the NFL draft after being Cam Ward’s favorite target at Miami. While his measurables were subpar compared to other drafted receivers, Restrepo has multiple 1,000-yard seasons and consistently performed at a high level against outstanding competition.
While Restrepo has received all of the UDFA hype, Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports believes there is another undrafted rookie fans should keep an eye on: Boston College DT Cam Horsley.
Tennessee Titans – DT Cam Horsley
Cam Horsley was a candidate for hardest-working, highest-energy interior lineman in the 2025 class. The motor hummed loudly on every play at Boston College. At just under 6-foot-3 and 312 pounds, the nose tackle went over 30 tackles in each of his final four seasons with the Golden Eagles and hit double digits in the pressure department in all five seasons he spent in college despite predominantly playing 0T and 1T and never seeing the field for more than 554 snaps in one campaign.
The Titans have Jeffery Simmons and T’Vondre Sweat as their starting defensive tackles. Serious mass and talent there. After that, there are plenty of depth jobs up for grabs, and I will not be surprised whatsoever if Horsley’s energy is infectious in training camp and the preseason, enough for him to earn a spot on the 53-man roster in September.
Tennessee spent a lot of time during the pre-draft process scouting defensive linemen but failed to pull the trigger on one during the NFL draft. Being able to sign Horsley after the draft was a solid addition. Like Restrepo, many analysts expected Horsley to hear his name called at some point during the draft.
Horsley is a valuable run-stuffer with intriguing pass-rush upside. At 6-foot-3, 312 pounds, he brings enough size, strength, and technical refinement to anchor along the defensive line. He profiles as an early-career run-stuffer who has not reached his ceiling and could surprise as a rotational defensive lineman.
With the Titans’ starters in place, there is likely room for some defensive line depth to be added behind Simmons, Sweat, and Sebastian Joseph-Day. Horsley could be a great developmental prospect behind them.
