Minnesota Vikings star Justin Jefferson is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. In fact, both ESPN and Pro Football Focus ranked him as the No. 2 receiver in the league entering the 2025 season.
In 2024, Jefferson tallied 103 receptions for 1,533 yards and 10 receiving touchdowns, paving his way to another Pro Bowl selection. He was also a First-Team All-Pro as a result of his performance.
That being said, one would expect Jefferson to be strict when it comes to his diet in order to maintain his conditioning and physique. After all, without discipline, it would be hard for any athlete to perform at the highest level.

However, that’s not really the case for Jefferson. In an old video from Netflix that recently resurfaced, the Vikings wideout revealed his guilty pleasure when it comes to food: candy and sweets!
“Listen, don’t judge me yet,” Jefferson said at the start of the clip before he showed his favorite candy and snacks. “So, we gotta have the Sour Patch. I feel like it’s a must. Got the chocolate. Cinnamon pretzels definitely be hitting crazy. We got a lot of stuff in the back, but we ain’t gotta show all that.”
Justin Jefferson understands very well that those foods are not good for him. However, he reasoned that his body is young and can still deal with them. At the end of the day, Jefferson knows that there will be a time when he can no longer eat the stuff that he loves.
“While I can, right now, I’m gonna continue to eat candy, eat the junk food, while my body’s still young,” Jefferson added, clearly emphasizing that he has no plans of stopping any time soon. “You know, there is gonna come a time where that’s gonna stop for me, so.”
Several fans were supportive of Jefferson’s love for candy and sweets, though, taking to the comments section to share their thoughts.
“Those cinnamon pretzels are actually so good tho,” a commenter wrote. Another one said, “I feel your pain! The dental bills too, life short, eat dessert first!”
A fan added, “That laughing…he’s adorable.”
“He’s really like this in real life lbs I seen it in person,” a supporter added.
A fifth follower remarked, “Love Sour Patch Kids with my popcorn.”
“Soooo what’s in the back, my man,” a social media user asked.
Considering how consistently Jefferson has performed for the Vikings over the years, though, it doesn’t seem like fans should be worried.
