PlayStation Plus subscribers’ free Essential games for July 2025 are Diablo 4, The King of Fighters 15, and Jusant, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced Wednesday. Players can download the trio of games beginning July 1.
Diablo 4 is, of course, Blizzard Entertainment’s latest entry in its loot-focused, dark-fantasy, action-role-playing game series. The newest Diablo game, released in 2023, features a single-player and cooperative campaign against the forces of Hell, and features five playable classes: Barbarian, Sorcerer, Rogue, Necromancer, and Druid. (A sixth, Spiritborn, was added in the Vessel of Hatred DLC.) Diablo 4 will be available through PS Plus for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
The King of Fighters 15 is SNK’s latest entry in the venerable fighting game franchise, and features dozens of playable characters — 39 to be exact — across multiple teams. KOF 15 will be available on PS4 and PS5.
Jusant is a perfect palate cleanser after all that demon smashing and street fighting. Released in 2023, Dont Nod’s Jusant is a chill, puzzle-platforming rock climbing game that you should play (unless you’re unreasonably afraid of heights). It will be available via PS Plus on PS5.
July 2025’s PS Plus Essential games will be available for download through Aug. 4.
PS Plus subscribers can still pick up June 2025’s PlayStation Plus Essential games — NBA 2K25, Alone in the Dark, and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk — through June 2.
PlayStation Plus Essential is the lowest tier available in Sony’s subscription service. It offers online multiplayer access, a monthly assortment of free PS4 and PS5 games, cloud storage, and discounts on PlayStation Store purchases. PlayStation Plus Essential costs $79.99 annually, $24.99 for a three-month subscription, or $9.99 monthly.
