Deep depression formed near Kolkata. IMD issues heavy rainfall and wind warning for 9 states

A deep depression has formed over Bangladesh and Gangetic West Bengal, moving west-northwestward at 23 km/h. Heavy rainfall is expected in several regions, including Kolkata, Odisha, and Jharkhand. Squally winds and rough sea conditions are forecasted. Fishermen are advised to avoid the north Bay of Bengal until September 16.
