Hyderabad: The�Cyberabad police seized a container with over 800 kgs of ganja concealed in drums at Shamshabad.
The smugglers were bringing the contraband from Odisha when the police intercepted the container on Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Pedda Amberpet on Saturday night. The special operations team (SOT) of Cyberabad police found a few drums filled with chemicals in the front row after opening the container doors.
When they checked it in detail, the SOT team found similar blue colour drums filled with ganja sachets. The team immediately took the container driver into custody. The police officials said the more details about the ganja smuggling would be known only after questioning the driver.
