The Arizona Cardinals face the Carolina Panthers in Week 2. They kick off from State Farm Stadium Sunday at 1:05 p.m. local time. There are some player connections between the two teams.
The Cardinals have one former Panthers player, while the Panthers have a pair of players who were on the Cardinals just a season ago.
Who are the player connections?
Cardinals WR Greg Dortch
Dortch has been with the Cardinals since 2021, but he began his career as an undrafted rookie in 2019 with the Panthers.
Panthers LB Krys Barnes
Barnes is on the practice squad for the Panthers. He played the last two seasons for the Cardinals.
Panthers RB DeeJay Dallas
Dallas was the Cardinals’ primary kick returner last season and spent the offseason and preseason with the team. He signed last year to a three-year contract, but he was part of roster cuts and signed with Carolina’s practice sqiad.
