Can the Boston Celtics win Game 5 of their East Semis series with the New York Knicks without star forward Jayson Tatum? The St. Louis native ended up going down with an Achilles tendon tear late in Game 4 of the two Atlantic Division teams’ 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals second round series, and will now miss the rest of this and likely most or all of next season as a result.

But the Celtics’ current campaign to repeat as NBA champs is not dead yet, as daunting as the prospect of even winning the next game may be with all the other dings Boston players have also been dealing with in this series. Can the Celtics come back and make a fight of what is left of the East Semifinals?
