Brittany Cartwright shared additional details about the night that irrevocably broke her marriage to Jax Taylor during the Valley season 2 reunion. While going through what led up to Taylor’s trip to rehab, Cartwright said that Taylor threw her into a rose bush. We’d already heard on The Valley that Taylor had thrown a coffee table, and that it had hit Cartwright on the leg. However, Taylor putting his hands on Cartwright had not been part of the story until now. “He was extremely aggressive. He threw the coffee table. It landed on my knee. It turned black immediately. He threw both barstools,” Cartwright told Andy Cohen. “He threw my Stanley cup and broke it…He threw my phone and broke it. He threw my laptop and broke it. He threw me into the rose bushes.”
Taylor denied throwing Cartwright, but she doubled down. “Yes, you did,” she replied. “It’s on my Ring camera doorbell. My close friends up here have seen the videos.” Castmates Zack Wickam and Kristen Doute both indicated that they had seen the camera footage. The discussion then turned to Cartwright’s dating history, which Taylor has used as an excuse for his outburst.
During this season of The Valley, fans have criticized Bravo for “platforming” Taylor, especially after he injured his ex-partner. Jax Taylor is not returning for season 3. He made a statement saying he’s stepping away to work on his sobriety and co-parenting relationship with Cartwright.
