Bihar plans to construct more barrages on rivers to mitigate flood problem

The Bihar government plans to construct barrages on rivers in six northern districts to mitigate recurring floods. This initiative, supported by the Centre with Rs 11,500 crore, aims to manage multiple rivers and includes projects like Kosi-Mechi inter-linking for improved irrigation in Seemanchal.
