Battlefield 6 classes will passively earn perks over the course of a match, culminating in a powerful active ability.
That’s just part of how developer DICE is looking to double down on the unique strengths of each class in the next Battlefield. In a community update blog post, DICE further elaborated on the next Battlefield’s class system, having previously revealed that Battlefield 6 wouldn’t feature class-locked weapons.
It will, however, have what DICE is calling Training. Players will be able to choose between two different Training paths for each class. Training levels up over the course of a match by tackling objectives or engaging in teamplay, after which players gain more passive bonuses unique to the class. Upon reaching level-three Training, players can use an unique active class ability.
