GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

SHAWANO – The Foxes took charge from the start and cruised to a 25-10, 25-14, 25-6 win over the Hawks in Bay Conference action.

Leading the way for Fox Valley Lutheran were Alaina Patchett with eight kills, Kenzi Loberger with five kills, Emily Matthias and Hayden Massonet with three aces each, Brianna Dahlke with three blocks, and Riley Schmitz with 11 digs and three aces.

Bay Port 3, Kaukauna 0

SUAMICO – The Pirates defeated the Ghosts 25-13, 25-19, 25-15 in a nonconference match.

Meghan Buss had a double-double for Bay Port with 25 assists and 11 digs. Alexia Stephens had a team-high 13 kills and added six digs, while Taylor Neuenschwander added 11 kills. Taylor Russell had a team-leading 13 digs for the Pirates, and Madison Lebeau had nine digs and six aces.

Bay Port improves to 12-3 overall.

Kiel 3, Chilton 1

KIEL – The Raiders rallied from an early deficit to post a 23-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-22 Eastern Wisconsin Conference win.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Kaukauna 3, Neenah 0

KAUKAUNA – The Ghosts defeated the Rockets 25-20, 25-23, 25-17 in a Fox Valley Association match.

Maverik Kelderman and Donovan Waters led Kaukauna with 13 and 10 kills, respectively. Sam Hussin had 31 assists and six digs.

“Neenah served and defended well, played to their strengths and exposed areas we definitely need to spend some time on,” Kaukauna coach Carter Belling said. “All of that said, it’s good to walk out with a gritty win against a talented Neenah team that’s had to move some key pieces around due to injury.”

Kimberly 3, Appleton West 1

KIMBERLY – The Papermakers ran their record to 5-0 in the Fox Valley Association with a 25-13, 25-20, 23-25, 25-20 win over the Terrors.

Alex Krause had a double-double for Kimberly with 19 kills and 13 digs. Blake Zielinski had a team-leading 33 assists and added seven digs. Ian Van Hammond had a team-high 15 digs, Cooper Baade had seven kills and four aces, and Peter Van Grinsven had six kills.

Hortonville 2, Appleton West 1

HORTONVILLE – The Polar Bears got two goals from Roman Glad in the Fox Valley Association win over the Terrors.

Elliot Vedder assisted on one of Glad’s goals.

Grant Decker had three saves and one goal allowed in net for Hortonville.
