The rules of the Celebrity Relationship randomizer are simple: when one marriage ends, another begins. Former GMA3 co-anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes announced on their podcast that they are engaged, just three years after their affair was uncovered. “We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we’ve been engaged for just about a month now,” Robach shared. Holmes chimmed in, adding, “We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to. We’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship.” The couple even joked about how Robach’s been wearing her engagement ring publicly for a month and no one has even noticed. “I was in three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring very proudly, very excitedly, and kept waiting for somebody to point it out or ask me, ‘Hey, what’s that?’ And it never happened,” Robach shared. Maybe another ring at a football game was getting more attention.
The beginning of Robach and Holmes’s relationship was basically just the real-life The Morning Show. When their relationship went public in November 2022, the two had conflicting reports on when their relationship actually started. Either it was sometime in March 2022, while they were still married to other people, or in August 2022, right after they had separated from their partners. The latter is a more digestible story for the public, and now the news of an engagement is the most respectable outcome in a time when a Coldplay affair haunted us for weeks. In case those former Astronomer employees are thinking about their next move.
