All 11 candidates for MLC polls in Karnataka likely to get elected unopposed

All 11 candidates from the Congress, BJP, and JD(S) who filed nominations for the Karnataka Legislative Council polls are expected to be elected unopposed. The elections for the 11 seats, scheduled for June 13, will see candidates from the three parties securing positions based on the existing strength in the assembly. The ruling Congress has nominated prominent figures including Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s son, while the BJP has fielded former national general secretary C T Ravi among others.
