Vistara will merge into Air India on November 12 and the former is scheduled to cease its operations on November 11. The airline has announced that customers will no longer book tickets on or after November 12, 2024.
Neelesh Misra, an author, took to X to share on how he feels about the Vistara-Air India merger.
Neelesh said the merger feels like your girlfriend getting married on November 12. He also felt like meeting his girlfriend for the last time after his recent flight with Vistara.
“I flew my favourite airline @airvistara and it felt like meeting for the last time your girlfriend who is getting married on Nov. 12.
Chalo jahan rahe khush rahe,” he wrote on X.
To this, Vistara has replied saying, “but neelesh, we can still be friends ya…”
Vistara, a 51:49 Joint Venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA), was established in 2013.
