New HIV cases down by 44% since 2010: Anupriya Patel

New annual HIV infections in India have decreased by 44 per cent since 2010, surpassing the global reduction rate of 39 per cent. Union Minister Anupriya Patel highlighted India’s progress and strategies at a UN event, emphasizing comprehensive testing, free antiretroviral therapy, and India’s role as a major supplier of anti-retroviral drugs.
