Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has accused the Centre of exploiting fuel prices despite a drop in crude oil costs. He claims that even with a 32.5% reduction in crude oil prices, the BJP continues to impose high fuel taxes. Kharge believes that states with upcoming elections will reject this price rise and defeat the BJP.
