“In 1994, we initiated the movement for SC categorisation based on the BCs reservations and have spread the movement to village level by expanding it to national level. We will not stop our movement and will also extend our support to BCs for their meaningful demand of BCs reservations in Legislatives and will work for SC, ST and BCs rights in the country,” Manda Krishna Madiga said.
During the 30 year long movement for the SC categorisation, the MRPS and its cadre faced tough times, and we made the MRPS as a strong organisation on the lines of political party. The MRPS would continue the agitation to strictly implement the Apex court orders in all states and would fight on the SC’s issues. Manda Krishna also extended his gratitude to the BJP led NDA government at center for forming a committee on the issue of SC categorisation for speeding up trial in the Apex court.
