At a focal points meeting, India, Indonesia, and Australia reaffirmed their commitment to a free, rules-based, peaceful, inclusive, and prosperous Indo-Pacific. They discussed the Indo-Pacific Oceans Initiative, IORA, marine pollution, blue economy, emphasizing maritime domain awareness and ASEAN convergence. Prime Minister Modi proposed IPOI at Bangkok’s 2019 East Asia Summit for a secure maritime domain.
