Inter Miami has released an update on Lionel Messi following his injury.
Inter Miami has delivered reassuring news regarding Lionel Messi’s condition. After a collision with two opponents, Alexis Pena and Raul Sanchez, while charging toward goal, Messi suffered a right thigh injury and was forced off in just the 11th minute against Mexican side Necaxa in the Leagues Cup (2-2, 5-4 on penalties).
“Medical tests have confirmed a minor muscle injury in the right leg,” Inter Miami announced. The club did not specify how long the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner will be sidelined.
