Today we’ve got Oli Fox, a West Ham fan and one half of Good Neighbours!
Hi Oli.Ā What are you hoping to see from West Ham in the 2025/26 Premier League season?
ā Iām hoping to see just a little more cohesion and consistency in our squad. Last season saw us with a talented squad that didnāt know how to be a team, so I hope Potter has drilled that into the boys.
What is your hottest take or boldest prediction for West Ham’s 2025/26 Premier League season?
ā I hate to say that itās now a āhot takeā but I believe weāve recruited in such a way to secure a top half finish? Iād dream of a Europa spot but thereās been a lot of decent transfers from our main competition.
If you were going to bet your life savings on something definitely happening to West Ham in the 2025/26 season, what would it be?
Thereās a few things that I know will happen. Bowen will get into double figures, the fans will turn on Potter a couple of times, and we will have a decent FA Cup run but get knocked out by a silly club.
Other than your own, which team or player are you most excited to watch in the 2025/26 season?
Iām actually very interested to see if Man United can do anything with a new look team. I really donāt like them as a team but some of the players theyāve employed like Mbeumo and Cunha deserve a shot at the big time. Itās an exciting time for the Premier League.
What do you predict will be the first managerial change of the 2025/26 season?
Regardless of the team, Iām not sure Ruben Amorim is the right manager for United. I can see him seeing the door mid-season.
Who will turn out to be West Ham’s signing of the summer?
El Hadji Malick ā Diouf. Heās had a steady start in pre-season but I really think heās going to come into his own. We havenāt had an athlete like him in wing back for a while, so Iām excited to see how he shapes our attack.
Who will finish as the Premier League’s Player of the Season?
Very tough. I think itāll be Wirtz for Liverpool, but he faces competition from the likes of Mo Salah and other 10s like Cole Palmer.
Who will win the Golden Boot?
Mo Salah is the obvious shout but Iām going to go with JoĆ£o Pedro as an outside vote.
Which club will win the Premier League title?
Liverpool.
Finally, which three clubs will be relegated?
Sunderland, Wolves, Leeds.
